Complete each step in the provider account before returning to DNA Genics.
Sign in
Sign in to Ancestry.
Open DNA settings
Visit the Ancestry DNA Setting section (Login required). Click “Settings” in the top-right corner.
Confirm the request
Scroll down to the bottom “Actions” and enter your password, check the box, and click “Confirm”.
Check your email
You’ll get an email at the email address connected to your Ancestry account. It contains a link to download your DNA file and usually arrives in about 15 minutes but in some cases could take up to a few hours to receive the email.
Continue to DNA Genics
Upload your file to DNAGENICS.
Keep the original. Then choose an upload.
Store the downloaded file securely and check the upload instructions for its format. Downloading a file does not upload it to DNA Genics or start an analysis.
